Graphic/web Designers! Should I buy this laptop?
I am a university student and I am looking for a laptop to practice my graphic/web design skills as well as desktop publishing. I’m broke so I can’t afford a top of the line mac. Here is the specs on the mac I am thinking of purchasing.

Sounds really good to me! Assuming all the listed software is functional, you’re getting a great package.
Eventually, you can upgrade the RAM to as much as 2gigs, upgrade the HD, etc.
Performance wise, all I can say is I have a G4 tower that’s running Photoshop CS with a 1 gig processor (upgraded from the original 400), and only 756 RAM … and it works just fine!
