Are American statistics on China better than statistics done by China?

With this in mind why are American statistics better than Chinese ones, and how come they are?

The only valid statistics are those produced by independent researchers, any government or government agency will always have some sort of agenda.
Also there’s a difference between unemployment and people without work. It depends what is being measured. Many women for instance would not claim themselves to be ‘unemployed’ even though they don’t work for a wage.
