software license agreement question (i need advice)?
i’m going to buy a software macromedia studio mx to build a website for my company, i’m not going to develop any software with studio mx, just a simple website that advertises my company on the web (a travel agency company) my questions are as follows:
1.) when i already own the software, am i still required to register the software with adobe? (actually i already bought a full version back in 2004 when i took a web design class)
2.) do i need to pay yearly fees for owning the studio mx software for as long as my company is in business?
3.) am i required to buy updates for my studio mx software from adobe even though the outdated studio mx that i own is still good enough for what i need it for.
1) You are not required to register, registering is a good idea if you bought it because then you can download all the bug fixes and latest pluggins and read about developments.
2) No, you bought it you can do whatever you want.
You’ve licensed the product so that you could create web pages.
3)No you are not required to purchase updates, they are optional.
