Google Submission Rules?

What are the rules concerning submission of your site to google and other SE’s / directories? I have been modifiying, adding content, etc on my site, and want to know if I need to resubmit the site to have it crawled. If so, how often can I do that? Is there a penalty for submitting too often? How about SE’s other then Google? Any good SEO tips or assistance is appreciated. www.ariesproperty.com

Good question. Google will eventually crawl your site. If you really want to make Google notice your site, go to dmoz.org and submit your site. Dmoz.org is the largest human edited site and Google loves this site – one link from Dmoz is like having 100 links on any other sites.

Be sure to follow all the rules when submitting your site to Dmoz – no sales talk or “we are the best” type of content. Dmoz just wants the facts without ANY hype.
