What is the difference between EA Sports NHL game (PS2) versus NHL Hitz?

We recently purchased NHL2K10, only to find out the graphics suck and the camera angle is horrible. We have been playing NHL Hitz 2002 for a long time now and just love the graphics, camera angle, everything. So I am wondering if the EA Sports NHL 09 would be similar in terms of graphics, camera angles, etc. We would like an updated game rather than 7 years old. Please advise. Thank you.
