Graphics Editor Mac

Does anyone know any fun graphic software for my mac?

Hi i want to design my own graphics and images, like funky texts, logo’s, flyers, spoof images etc and id like to know what software to use, i have illustrator and photoshop but this seems more like a photo editor, and id like some software where you create your own images, graphics and designs etc? can anyone throw me a few names of some software for mac osx leopard on my ibook? thanks!

when i load up adobe illustrator i havent got a clue what to do next, i bought my mac off this guy that done graphic design and he left on ‘illustrator and photoshop cs2 and some other programs on it, if you say that illustrator is good for what i want to do, where can i learn (on internet or ibook) to use illustrator, is it a really good program then?

Tons of professional graphic designers use Photoshop and Illustrator themselves, so you’re off to a good start, actually. I haven’t used Illustrator myself, so I shouldn’t comment on that directly, but in my experience, Photoshop has been awesome for doing the things you described (funky text, spoof images), and I’ve been using Flash to design logos since Flash deals primarily with vector graphics, but I understand Illustrator is the logo-design app of choice for many. You’ve pretty much already got the best, so all you really need to do is explore the possibilities. Photoshop is a good photo editor, yes, but that’s only scratching the surface.
