while creating a website, a large amount of text and banners where put on my home page, how can i delete them?

affiliate program

You should highlight the text and put in into a text file, so that you know just what you want to remove. I only say this because you mention there is a large amount. Also do the same with the banners, right click them and get the link codes and image file that they are using. Then open your home page in an editor, I have a free one listed on my site below. You can also use notepad for this. Find the text and links you wish to remove, and simply delete them. Note that some of them may be getting placed on your page by your hosting company if you are using a free one. Check out http://www.hostfor2bucks.com for a cheap alternative to the free hosts.
